Making Health Reform Work: State Consumer Assistance Programs

Federal health reform will mean new coverage for 32 million uninsured people in the United States. Consumers will need help from consumer assistance programs like CHA in every state. CSS, in collaboration with Community Catalyst, has just released Making Health Reform Work: State Consumer Assistance Programs. This report looks at the most common models of consumer assistance programs today and makes recommendations about how to build the strongest  programs to help consumers make the most of the new opportunities available through health care reform.
